DGCA approval to DGM training facilities in Ahmedabad, Kolkata

The DGCA has granted their approval for Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) India’s training facilities at Ahmedabad and Kolkata,” confirmed Radharamanan Panicker, Managing Director, DGM. He stated that they are happy to be back at these places with the new CBTA based framework. “This approach emphasises a practical based approach to learning. He informed that DGM will launch its first competence-based DG recurrent course for personnel responsible for processing and accepting dangerous goods on 6 October 2025 at Ahmedabad. Course in Kolkata will be launched by mid-October.” Regarding expansion to other locations in India, he informed that their training facility cum office at Delhi will be ready and inaugurated on 2 October. The training will start once the facility is approved by DGCA. Our expansion is controlled to serve the safety needs of Indian civil aviation. He took the opportunity to thank DGCA officials for guiding the training institutes through the process for implementing the DG training based on the new CBTA framework.
